Venezuela and Peru.
But what is the difference between the two? Find out..

"The Prince of Cacao, South of the Lake" - Origin: Venezuela

Intense, deep, velvety, our Ceremonial Cacao is of Origin - Venezuela. Called "The Prince of Cacao, South of the Lake" it comes from one of the oldest and most interesting areas in the world, located in the north-eastern part of Venezuela, which has an ancestral culture of cacao cultivation by indigenous communities and farmers from area. Cultivated in the tropical lowlands of the southeast of Lake Maracaibo, in the heart of the foothills of the Venezuelan Andes.

It was here that our founder Daniela Oliveros was also born!

Our cacao crops benefit from the tropical heat and abundant water provided by the rains. Cultivated in ideal conditions respecting their natural maturation process. With this grain, the least possible processing is used, applying low fermentation and low temperature without roasting, through unique methods to maintain its purity and natural quality.

The result is a pure cacao with fine, intense, velvety flavours, low in acidity, with aromas that range from the characteristic smell of fresh cacao, with fruity and floral notes, to subtle nuances of nutty tannins. All these conditions make this Ceremonial Cacao extremely delicate, unique and special. With a powerful and palpable energy intensified by the unique environment in which the tree has grown.

"The King of Cacao, Criollo" Origin - Peru.

Our Peruvian cacao is grown by cooperatives of small farmers. The Criolla variety is considered "the king of cacao" because it is the oldest and produces high quality beans with fine flavours and aromas. With this grain, the least possible processing is used, applying low fermentation and low temperature without roasting, through unique methods to maintain its purity and natural quality

This Cacao is of Peruvian Origin. It is grown in the Andes within an organic production system, where careful measures are taken to process it as little as possible and at low temperatures, in order to preserve the nutritional and medicinal properties of this cacao. The Andes have traditionally been a source of excellent food and medicinal plants.
