This cacao grows in Venezuela, deep in the Sierra de Perijá, among humid forest ecosystems and rich, vibrant biodiversity. This cacao variety is cultivated by the indigenous Yukpa and Barí communities, who honour its spirit and preserve their ancestral traditions.

Cacao grows alongside native and fruit trees, in a relationship that protects and nourishes the land. The beans are fermented in wooden boxes covered with banana leaves and slowly sun-dried, absorbing the vital energy of their surroundings.

This cacao is a return to primordial energy.
